Actually, there is No Golden Boot Award for this competition. But the governing body rewards the top scorer of each edition with a special crest. Traditionally fans might call the award the Golden Boot. But the award is neither a Boot nor made of Gold. In the 18 editions so far, players from at least 10 different countries have finished as the campaign’s top-scorer at least for once.

Saudi Arabia & Qatar, each also offers 2 edition-based top scorers. Inder Singh is the only Indian to feature in this list as he netted twice in 1964 and was the joint top scorer of the 3rd edition.
