To date, no goalkeeper has won the Yashin Trophy more than once. 4 different keepers have won it, Emi Martinez, Courtois, Neuer, and Donnarumma. However, as Emiliano Martinez is most likely to win it in 2024 as well, he can be the first-ever keeper to win it twice. So far, players from Argentina, Brazil, Belgium, and Italy have won this award. Among the clubs, Aston Villa, Liverpool, PSG, and Real Madrid represent the winners. Ederson made the top 3 most number of times (thrice) but is yet to win it. The Man City stopper ended 2nd once and twice in the 3rd position.
